ABOUT THE ARTIST
Madalena Passeiro was born in Cascais in 1988.
Studied Nursing, Management and Public Administration and Culinary Arts.
The artist's interests range from the scientific area to the most creative. Since childhood, she has been passionate about the Arts, having throughout her life dedicated her time to different areas – Sewing, Photography, Watercolor Painting, Acrylic and Oil, Ceramics and Kitchen.
In 2020, during the period of isolation imposed by the Portuguese State, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, he dedicated himself to abstract painting.
As a result of this time, the Instagram page @madalenapasseiro_art is born, where he promotes and markets his creations.
Along the way, he has experimented with the most diverse materials and painting techniques: from oil to acrylic, from the abstract to the human figure.

INSPIRATION
Madalena uses mixed techniques combining various elements that give her work an identity of its own
The artist inherited the hands of her grandmothers. Grandma Necas, passionate about cooking and grandmother Carmo (Coelhinho) for sewing, painting and fashion.
Madalena expresses under the legacy of her grandmothers reinvented the past.
It aims to create light works that can fit into any space, from ancient to modern and minimalist.
